Catalogue Cone Search

Search the CORNISH catalogue for radio detections within a specified angular distance of an arbitrary coordinate. Equatorial coordinates may be in H:M:S / D:M:S or decimal degrees, Galactic coordinates must be in decimal degrees.

Enter a coordinate and a search radius:

Coordinates:
Coordinate System:
Search radius:
Output Type: Web page with links to data.
Space delimited ASCII Catalogue.
Comma delimited CSV Catalogue.
Include Artefacts? No Yes
Show Errors? No Yes

Example equatorial inputs:

18:46:04.17 -02:39:21.22 or 18h46m04.17s -02d39m21.22s or
18 46 04.17 -02 39 21.22 or 281.517375 -2.655894

Example Galactic inputs:

29.9573 -00.0177

Batch Cone Search

Submit a list of coordinates to be cross-matched with the CORNISH catalogue. The maximum number of lines in the input list is 1000 and the size of the file must be less than 10 MB.

Choose a file containing a list of coordinates:

File:
Coordinate System:
Search radius:
Output Type: Web page with links to data.
Space delimited ASCII catalogue.
Comma delimited CSV Catalogue.
Include Artefacts? No Yes
Show Errors? No Yes
Matches: Display all matches.
Display only nearest matches.

Input file format

The input file should be a space delimited plain text file. It is assumed the first column will contain the RA / l and the second Dec / b positions. More than two columns are allowed and additional text beyond the first two columns will be appended to the information returned if the ASCII or CSV options are selected. The search can distinguish coordinates in the same format as the single-position search, except for formats containing spaces.
